About us / Comms Hub
We are Comms Hub, a global team of communications strategists, researchers, and changemakers committed to strengthening democracy through evidence-based narrative work. For this project, we work alongside a network of civil society organizations and regional experts, including La Intersección (Spain), Kenya Comms Hub (East Africa), and Las Escuchadoras (Latin Americans). Together, we are building a dynamic, cross-regional ecosystem that enables civil society to better understand and engage with the world through digital research, content testing, and co-creation.
We are currently co-developing a 12-month research project focused on digital listening and narrative analysis of Gen-Z audiences. The project is led by a global Steering Committee responsible for designing the research methodology and coordinating collaboration across countries.
To support this work, we are building local research teams in Brazil, Kenya, and Spain, who will lead fieldwork and narrative mapping in their respective countries. We are now recruiting Junior Researchers to support these teams.
This specific position is for a Junior Local Researcher, who will contribute to the Brazil study under the supervision of senior analysts. The role focuses on supporting digital research and narrative analysis of Gen-Z audiences within the Brazilian context.
About Gen-Z
This project, which aims to better understand Gen-Z civic narratives and strengthen civil society engagement across three countries — Spain, Brazil, and Kenya — is rooted in understanding and supporting Gen-Z, the first generation to grow up fully immersed in digital culture. At the same time, they are increasingly targeted by polarizing narratives and misinformation.
We see this generation not just as an audience, but as co-creators and catalysts for change. Through digital research and narrative testing, we aim to better understand how Gen-Z perceives the world and frames key issues related to their civic engagement. We do not presuppose which issues matter most to them but rather seek to identify the organic topics they surface and debate, particularly in relation to democratic values and participation.
