General Description
This role will require an experienced and visionary social impact professional to assist the Chief Impact Officer in the creation and implementation of social impact strategies that leverage BSF's research, programs, chapters, digital innovation strategies, and advocacy efforts. This role will play a pivotal role in influencing our theory of change to listen, share, partner, and act.
The Director, Social Impact will represent BSF internally and externally and will drive awareness and engagement through partnerships in the non-profit, philanthropic, corporate, Military and Veteran Service Organization (MSO/VSO) and government space.
The Director, Social Impact role collaborates closely with and supports Social Impact leadership leads on the development and implementation of national level program design and delivery, research and evaluation, military spouse employment initiatives, Chapters and Outposts, and more. This position supports a highly influential cross-sector collaborative of nonprofits, government partners, and corporate and philanthropic leaders.
