This position is a new role at the organization. The Director of Procurement will develop a new procurement function from the ground up to support streamlined business processes, sustainable growth, and responsible stewardship of organizational resources. The Director is responsible for indirect procurement, developing and implementing long-term strategies for Earthjustice purchasing of goods and services, strategic sourcing, effective contracting, data analysis, and spend analytics.
The Director will develop procurement policies and procedures that will add value, efficiency, and innovation to the organization. They will set purchasing policies, manage purchasing budgets and have overall management of purchasing processes. The procurement function will work to support Earthjustice’s sustainability goals and incorporate vendor diversity and sustainability practices into our procurement processes.
The Director of Procurement will report to the Associate Vice President of Financial Planning in the Finance Department and will eventually hire and lead all team to manage procurement processes for the organization.

Salary is dependent on experience and location.
San Francisco, CA or New York, NY: $180,000 – $200,000
Seattle, WA, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, CA, Chicago, IL, Honolulu, HI: $171,000 – $190,000
Denver, CO, Philadelphia, PA, Anchorage, AK, Juneau, AK: $162,000 – $180,000
Miami & Tallahassee, FL, New Orleans, LA, Bozeman, MT: $153,000 – $170,000
Other remote locations salary ranges may vary: $153,000 – $190,000
Location
This position can be fully remote within the U.S. or based out of our NY, DC, or SF offices.
