This position is a leadership position in a dynamic and ambitious social enterprise in high-growth mode. You would be a key member of the organization’s brain trust with a significant level of client-facing work and thought leadership at 20 Degrees and beyond. This role includes the opportunity and responsibility to ensure the evolution and scalability of 20 Degrees’ innovative tools and processes that are deployed directly as well as through our subsidiary, Enterprise Capital Institute. The Social Finance Director job is perfect for someone who has leadership experience and wants to be a key member of a small executive team leading a rapidly expanding social enterprise that thrives on responding to sector-level needs with thoughtful, tested and structured tools and processes.
In this role you will lead our Social Finance Team, report to the President and serve as a part of the executive team. Your experience in people management, nonprofit revenue (development and earned revenue) and finance, will be paired with your ability to drive strategy and support an incredibly talented and growing team. You will drive the ongoing product roadmap in the social finance practice. When you are successful, your team will feel supported and nonprofit and social enterprise clients will use our tools and approaches to create lasting financial sustainability.

We are doing this because the moment is asking for better solutions to nonprofit leaders’ need for innovation around actual sustainability. 20 Degrees has built a strong foundation during the first five years of operation and now, we are seeking someone who can help us drive forward in impact in the next organizational chapter.
Responsibilities
What Success Looks Like in This Role
Success will be judged first and foremost with how well your team is able to deliver and evolve our three core offerings in social finance: 20 Degrees signature revenue assessment, a set of core financial models and the 20 Degrees Earned Revenue Intensive process. We will look to you to be a leader in this critical business practice, providing leadership and driving the organization’s impact to the next level as we seek to scale our impact in the coming years. Your goal is to ensure the team is able perform essential projects with a strong attention to detail and ensure our work with individual clients roll up to a larger sector-wide impact.
The job is fast-paced and success will require an ability to thrive in the big picture and small details. You will be asked to diligently manage multiple project items at once with light supervision and deep collaboration with the co-founders and your team.
Doing well in this job means delivering with the team on assigned projects and initiatives. We seek processes and workflows that are efficient, reflective of our culture as scarcity slayers and contributing to an overall impact footprint.

Salary & Benefits
Base compensation packages range between $125,000 to $150,000 and also includes additional variable comp including profit share and individual bonus. Generous benefits include health insurance, 401(k) match, paid vacation, strong culture and professional development opportunities.
Location
This salaried position is 100% virtual and full-time. Potential for 5-10% travel. Open to anywhere in the United States, with a preference to candidates located in DC, Maryland, Virginia, Minneapolis/St. Paul or South Carolina. Willingness and ability to work with the Eastern Time Zone is necessary. Co-Founders are located in Washington, DC, and we have clients and colleagues across the United States.
