Beth Geiger
About
Beth Geiger grew up in Southeast Alaska, giving her an exceptional understanding of social and environmental issues. She has a proven track record of leading impactful initiatives in community engagement and co-design, developing and implementing new programs and organizations, overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets, and building strategic partnerships across education, Indigenous rights, philanthropy, and the environmental sciences. She is committed to creating community-led positive change in social and environmental spaces through authentic relationship building, strategic program management, and grantmaking and implementation.
Her work includes establishing and co-designing community-led resources and programming with the R16CC WA Tribal Advisory Board, including the nationally recognized Share Our Voices, Hear Our Stories (SOV) series to support Native students and disrupt typical means of directing resources in education. The SOV Compilation shares the history of the program and outcomes from each session and can be found below in the R16CC section.
