About
I am a frontline social services and education professional with nearly two decades of experience supporting low-income and marginalized individuals through public benefits access, housing stability, disability pathways, and workforce transition. As a Department of Social Services caseworker, I supported clients with Medi-Cal and CalFresh (food assistance) applications and recertifications, answered ongoing eligibility questions, and helped individuals navigate complex systems, including Social Security and disability, often supporting transitions from homelessness to stability and work.
Previously, with the Marin Housing Authority, I served as a caseworker for Section 8 and low-income housing programs, managing annual recertifications, client communication, and compliance while acting as a consistent point of contact for residents navigating housing insecurity.
In parallel, I have taught ESL since 2010 in classrooms, online, and international settings, supporting adult learners across the U.S. and overseas. This combined background allows me to bridge social services, education, and workforce access—helping individuals understand systems, meet requirements, and move forward with clarity. I am seeking frontline, field-facing roles in social impact, economic inclusion, and workforce-focused programs where practical outcomes matter.
