Lisa Furst, LMSW, MPH, is a seasoned nonprofit executive and behavioral health leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing equitable, community-based mental health and human services. She formerly served as Chief Program Officer at Vibrant Emotional Health, where she oversaw a $37 million program portfolio spanning community services, crisis response, training and technical assistance, and disaster mental health. Known for building high-performing teams and driving innovation, Lisa has led major program expansions, strengthened organizational capacity, and shaped policy and advocacy efforts statewide. She is also a published author and experienced trainer whose work has focused on improving access, quality, and outcomes for underserved populations. Currently working as a consultant, she supports organizations in program strategy, capacity building, and sustainability. Lisa holds an MPH from CUNY and an MSW from Hunter College.
