About the Position
In the next five years, Tideline aims to fortify our position in the impact market as the leading trusted advisor to institutional investors and to grow sustainably in order to deepen our market influence and invest in team. Currently, we have an incredible multi-disciplinary team that includes exceptional associates and analysts, along with our founding partner and one associate partner. In order to achieve our goals, we are looking to add capacity to our team at the manager level, with an opportunity to grow into a director-level role.
The primary responsibilities for this role include –
Consulting: Leading client engagements, including managing client relationships and providing guidance, direction-setting, and oversight for the internal team.
People management: Manage Senior Analysts and Associates on the client services team, with the goal of providing regular feedback, support, mentorship, and professional development.
Internal operations and process improvements: Oversee staffing/resourcing of team members to internal and client-facing projects, taking into consideration individual team members’ areas of expertise, capacity, and professional development goals. Work with the senior management team to make service delivery more effective and efficient (for example, through identifying and integrating new software tools).
Business development: Lead the drafting of proposals and other business development materials, in collaboration with our marketing/BD team.

What will the hiring process look like?
Looking for a new job can be a daunting experience. Our approach is based in empathy and a desire for candidates to have a good experience. We want to give everyone an opportunity to display their strengths through their answers to our questions.
Our timeline from application close date to decision typically takes ~6 weeks for junior roles and 8-10 weeks for more senior roles. We try to move things along as quickly as possible, but sometimes schedules get in the way (and we aim to be considerate of yours as well!). We make every effort to communicate consistently and transparently through each step of the process.
For this role, applications are currently set to close on May 12th. You can expect to hear from us between May 13th and May 24th about whether you will be invited to interview for the role. The first step will be a short screening interview (about 25 minutes), and during that interview we will also make sure to give you an overview of the hiring process.
Following the screening interview, we expect to have 2 rounds of interviews as well as a case exercise stage.
