  • We are one of America’s largest beekeepers (~80,000 hives & 5 billion bees)
  • We have built and operate 14 solar facilities totaling 75 MW in capacity. We have applications submitted to build another 34 projects to over double our capacity.
  • We recently finalized large-scale lease agreements with developers that could facilitate over 2 GW of additional solar over the next decade

The Wonderful Renewable Solutions group works across our portfolio of business operations to identify, incubate, and scale sustainable ventures.

Job Description

  • Manages processes to meet customer specifications – constantly maintains production and quality standards (role will include QC Lab staff supervision)
  • Record and analyze operations data such as OEE and KPIs
  • Ability to manage simple construction/engineering projects
  • Ability to manage frequent schedule changes or unexpected events
  • Ability to perform statistical and data analytics in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Carries out company personnel policies and procedures in a fair and uniform manner
  • Communicate ideas to supervisors to improve processes + identifies waste and takes action to correct it
  • Follows company GMPs and helps establish process-specific SOPs for staff
  • Makes an effort to set a good example as a leader for other staff and demonstrates respect for others
  • Maintains a professional and positive working relationship with all WRS full-time + temporary team members in addition to third party contractors
  • Demonstrates accountability for team outcomes and actively participates in problem-solving and improvement efforts with Operations Director and other senior leadership
  • Maintains the site infrastructure and equipment of the facility
  • Helps manage relationships with site vendors for fuel, utilities, and maintenance
  • Helps maintain area in a clean, safe, organized, and efficient manner at all times
  • Understands and enforces all safety standards and regulations – collaborates with corporate EHS team occasionally

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated interest and skills related to one or more of the following:
  • Large scale, modern agriculture, and the technology driving change in how we grow food
  • Operations management and food/manufacturing/agriculture production
  • Advanced analytics, data management, data visualization, and insight generation
  • Superior problem solving and analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative) with experience in tools like Office Suite, Power BI, SQL, etc.
  • Willingness to travel (primarily within the Central Valley of California)
  • BS/BA or Master’s degree with two to five years related work experience in Business, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Agriculture, Operations, Finance or a related field
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Focused, organized, results-oriented individual
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and within a team
  • This is a Monday-Friday onsite role. Remote/hybrid work is a not an option
  • Successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, able to a to achieve high impact in an unstructured environment

Salary & Benefits

Pay Range: $75,000 - 90,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
