Carnegie Hall seeks an Associate, Social Impact Programs to be a part of a collaborative team tasked with leading The B-Side, a program introducing New York City teens to the business side of the music industry.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Support administration, operations and data management of The B-Side from planning to execution, including supporting contracts/payments, budgets, marketing, and production processes.
  • Manage and proactively lead communications and relationship building with youth applicants, participants, program alumni, facilitators/guest speakers and parents/guardians
  • Act as liaison between teaching artists, guest speakers/artists, program participants, and program partners to confirm scheduling, workshops attendance, participant stipends, travel needs, program content, as well as technical and logistical requirements for workshops and concerts.
  • Staff and oversee logistics for all workshops, field trips, events, and other program-related activities
  • Oversee The B-Side application process including launching the application, coordinating feedback for applicants, and presenting application data
  • Maintain updates for The B-Side website with relevant information
  • Manage the collection, recording and documentation of attendance records, student information, alum activities and all program data, and assets created by program participants and alumni.
  • Lead communication with internal teams in support of program needs and logistics

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Commitment to furthering the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the work required
  • Must have exceptional administration, organizational and communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to take initiative on projects and collaborate with team and manager to problem solve and seek solutions
  • Experience in youth development and/or social justice curriculum frameworks a plus
  • Understanding of various local community cultural interests and needs; knowledge of current NYC artists and organizations a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills Computer skills –Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.
