Job Summary: Our development team transforms lives impacted by vision loss through the power of philanthropy. We make Braille Institute’s free life-changing services accessible to anyone, anywhere in the world.
The Grants Manager is a liaison between the Braille Institute and its institutional funders. This person serves as the primary grant writer, manages funder relationships, and produces reports. This position requires strong writing, data analysis, relationship-building, program budgeting, and project management skills, with an emphasis on outcome measurement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Knowledge and Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A four-year college degree is desirable. Strong knowledge of standard office computer software required. Salesforce experience is required.
Experience: Position requires at least two years of comparable nonprofit writing and grant management.

Work Environment: Position works in a standard office environment, hybrid work schedule.
Physical Requirements: Position operates with standard office equipment. The ability to travel to regional offices, fundraising events and conferences may be required.
Salary: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year.
