Generation Mental Health (GenMH) is a global organization led by young people with livedexperience of mental health challenges, for young people with lived experience.We are building a generation of mental health advocates, researchers, and innovators whorepresent the communities they serve.

Role Overview

The Program Manager will lead the programmatic development of the Possibilities Collective.They would participate in management of the Collective Network and coordinate thedevelopment of the platform. This position will allow the postholder to develop and buildinternational collaborations, work with a diverse team and gain hands-on experience inyouth-advocacy and mental health research.


Requirement/Essential

● Minimum 3 years experience in global program management, preferably in mental healthor youth leadership
● Demonstrated understanding of lived experience-centered and equity-orientedprogramming
● Experience managing multi-country projects with virtual teams
● Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
● Some experience with academic research

Desirable

● Experience in international project management and business development
● Experience working with and supervising international programs
● Experience in academic research


Key Responsibilities

● Manage implementation of all program components and deliverables
● Coordinate across regional teams, partners, mentors, and platform contributors
● Lead budget monitoring, timeline tracking, and reporting
● Oversee grant review, internship matching, and consulting coordination
● Serve as main liaison between GenMH leadership, regional teams, funders, and externalstakeholders
● Convene regular cross-team coordination meetings to ensure continuous alignmentacross roles, responsibilities and workstreams.
● Coordinate knowledge management and production of key outputs (reports, briefs, casestudies, etc) to ensure organization of project learnings.
● Support cross-regional collaboration and learning between regional teams.● Supervise and mentor Program Assistant and other program staff, providing regularfeedback and capacity-building support.


Compensation

The position offers a salary package of $55,000-$60,000 for individuals based in the US. Salarywill be adjusted based on the country the employee is based in using Purchasing Power Parity.Here is a reference for salary in USD for a variety of countries using the $55,000 salarybaseline, though note this is subject to change based on updated PPP data.
