We are seeking an ambitious and talented senior campaign manager (trusts and foundations) to join our fundraising team.

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum – subject to skills and experience.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week over five days (we welcome flexible working requests).
Base: hybrid working with attendance in the office two days a week, including at least one at the Pears Building on site of the Royal Free Hospital. Other office days may be worked from at our other sites at Barnet, Chase Farm, and North Mid hospitals.

The role

The Senior Campaign Manager (Trusts and Foundations) will lead on developing and implementing a comprehensive Trusts & Foundations strategy to secure six- and seven-figure gifts in support of the Join the Future Capital Campaign for the new Royal Free London Cancer Centre.

This pivotal role will focus on cultivating and stewarding high-value relationships, driving transformational giving, and contributing to the charity’s most ambitious fundraising campaign to date. The successful candidate will play a key part in shaping the campaign’s success, working alongside senior leaders, clinicians, and external partners to inspire major philanthropic investment.

The team

Our dynamic fundraising department generated £4.5m through donations in 2025/26, and we are now preparing for an ambitious £50m fundraising campaign in support of a ground-breaking £100m cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital.

We pride ourselves on being a supporter-focused and agile function, working at the heart of the charity to deliver impact for patients and staff across our hospitals.

Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, and delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the fundraising department comprises three teams which work closely together to achieve our shared objectives:

Our philanthropy & campaigns team builds relationships with individual philanthropists, trusts, foundations, corporate organisations and intermediaries, giving or facilitating donations of £10,000 or more to the charity each year. They lead major appeal activity for the charity, currently focused on our forthcoming cancer campaign, and special events to support these activities.
Our public fundraising team harnesses the support and energy of individuals and groups, helping them to give back in the way that works for them. This includes committed giving, in memory support, gifts in wills, and fundraising events and challenges.
The Fundraising Operations team develop and maintain the foundation to underpin and support the fundraising activity of the entire department, including campaign operations, data, governance, prospect research and stewardship.
