The Company

Building Impact Partners is a philanthropy advising firm that works with changemakers who want to solve big challenges and move people, communities, and society forward for good. With expertise spanning education, social innovation, workforce development, and advocacy, along with experience in large-scale program implementation and launching nonprofits, our team has the insights, imagination, and determination to build bold, effective solutions that endure. We believe philanthropy can be an engine for systems change, so we help our clients move from intention to impact and work with and across the philanthropic community to build the knowledge, skills, and mindsets needed to create a more just and equitable world.

As a mission-driven organization, we are intentional about attracting diverse, values-aligned talent. We look to hire self-starters and provide the support and runway they need to chart their career paths within our organization or beyond. We are committed to being a high-performing team that delivers value to our clients, partners, and the field. Every team member plays an integral role in our firm’s success.

The Role

The Associate plays a pivotal role in ensuring that Building Impact Partners’ client engagements are executed on schedule, meet our clients’ needs and goals, and are delivered with a level of excellence that fosters deep trust and lasting partnership. Associates manage the end-to-end execution of projects, coordinating how the engagement team is leveraged to advance priorities, produce high-quality deliverables, and move the work forward efficiently. They generate insights that strengthen client strategy and decision-making and are the engine that moves complex projects from vision to execution—balancing strategy, attention to detail, curiosity, and collaboration.

Associates are trusted problem solvers who lead key project workstreams and ensure the overall engagement stays on track. They bring structure and clarity to big ideas and ambiguous situations, navigate complexity while keeping the end goal in mind, distill information into strategic, actionable insights that elevate the work, and consistently deliver outputs that earn client trust. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical and strategic skills with project management excellence and a passion for social impact.

This is a fully remote role (based in the continental United States) with some travel for client meetings and team gatherings (1-3 days, 8-10 times a year). The priority application deadline for this role is Monday, February 2nd.
