About OneGoal

OneGoal transforms postsecondary advising and support so that every student can define their own future. Together with our partners, we’re building a movement to close the opportunity gap. We work side-by-side with partner schools and districts to build their knowledge and capacity. The result is more effective support for all students. Our unique approach, honed over 15 years, prioritizes strong human relationships. And it’s proven to deliver real student impact: An independent study by the University of Chicago found that OneGoal students are about 40% more likely to earn their postsecondary degrees than students from similar backgrounds. At OneGoal you’ll be immersed in a culture of collaboration, shared purpose, and collective impact.

The Person

The Director of Partnerships is responsible for leading the execution of the overall OneGoal- New York partnerships vision. You will develop a clear strategy to retain, and in some cases increase the students we serve across our program solutions, as well as maximize the impact of our partners to support our students’ postsecondary planning and aspirations. You will be in a key partner-facing role, as our lead partner steward, supporting our collective effort to build the OneGoal brand, stewarding key decision-makers (e.g. Superintendents, Head of College and Career Readiness, Head of High Schools, Principals, postsecondary partners, teachers and counselors) to deepen their partnership and investment with OneGoal, securing public dollars in support of the partnership, and building relationships with influencers across the region. At the secondary school level, this includes meeting annual retention and revenue goals by strengthening partnerships with existing partners and supporting our region’s work to cultivate and onboard new partners. At the postsecondary level, this includes managing relationships at partner institutions to ensure that our Fellows have a supportive pathway to enroll and persist through their desired postsecondary experience.

The Director of Partnerships is responsible for the following key strands of work to support our region’s ability to meet our ambitious goals. You will do this by:

Partner Retention: Providing ongoing differentiated support to OneGoal partner sites to ensure strong program delivery in service of our students’ pursuit of their highest postsecondary aspirations (50%)

  • New Partners: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with Program Directors and school administrators to ensure program alignment, partner satisfaction, and long-term retention in service of driving measurable student postsecondary outcomes.
  • Returning Partners: Deepen our impact by providing differentiated support to school-based staff, especially Program Directors, empowering them to deliver a high-quality, OneGoal experience that drives measurable student postsecondary outcomes.
  • Lead our Fall onboarding strategy for both new and existing partnerships.
  • Collaborate with school-based teams to co-develop data-informed strategies that address student needs, support course fidelity, and achieve shared year-end goals.
  • Organize, manage and attend in person engagements, such as check-in meetings, internal/external events, etc.
  • Partner with internal teams, including Coaches, Program leadership, Development and Partnership, to ensure seamless support and coordination across your portfolio of partners.
  • Lead joint problem-solving with internal and external stakeholders to proactively address implementation challenges, improve program effectiveness, and strengthen partner commitment.
  • Contribute to partner sustainability by supporting contract renewals with our National Legal Team, aligning on shared goals internally and externally.
  • Collaborate to build and sustain relationships with postsecondary institutions that reinforce student persistence and success.

Data: Drive data-informed operations to support current and future partners, and increase our internal capacity to track and report on impact (20% of role)

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate partner pipelines in Salesforce.
  • Develop and maintain systems to update and reflect on regional partnerships dashboards and trackers.
  • Support critical partner data collection initiatives, such as rosters, transcripts, intent to enroll forms, etc.
  • Lead and manage annual Student Recruitment events at school partner sites, in an effort to sustain Fellow Count across current and future partners.

Operations: Fee For Service Process (20%)

  • Lead the entire Fee-For-Service process, from invoicing to cash-in across partners.
  • Support Fee-For-Service revenue forecasting, managing and tracking, primarily in both Google Sheets and Salesforce, as well as program benchmarks, key performance indicators (KPIs), etc.
  • Collaborate in the management and execution of student events, including annual OneGoal student summits and convenings.

Engage in personal learning and support team culture (10%)

  • Work to achieve meaningful outcomes, contribute to building a strong team and culture, actively engage in all OneGoal regional and national spaces,  and commit to your own learning + development aligned to our Core Values.
  • Support with other regional events and initiatives.
