Role Summary - Host Acquisition Specialist (Sales)

Responsible for growing the number of new hosts with confirmed trips and market lifetime trips by acquiring and approving qualified leads from all acquisition sources available.

Key Responsibilities - What I Mostly Do

  • Identifying, qualifying, and acquiring high-potential new hosts, with a focus on ethical, trustworthy, and top-tier partners in assigned markets
  • Approving hosts from outbound source on the assigned markets
  • Maintain accurate information on prospects and interaction activities in the CRM
  • Developing and managing a referral pipeline by nurturing relationships with high-performing partners.
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and improving the customer (hosts) acquisition funnel and lead scoring (Channel, spend, messaging, landing pages, and more) to identify weaknesses and opportunities, refining and delivering ongoing improvements to conversion
  • Providing market insights on host quality, trust signals, and traveler demand to help refine the acquisition strategy and product offerings.
  • Providing market insights based on users' feedback to optimize Worldpackers’ Product
  • Acquisition performance reporting with main KPIs, including CAC per channel/market, and LTV of new approved and activated hosts
  • Ensure proper handoff along with the Hosts Community Success team
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with key host accounts, identifying opportunities for mutual growth and expansion.
  • Responsible for understanding market strategies and priorities in order to increase our market share (hosts with trips & total confirmed trips)

Key Performance Indicators

Volume & Activation Metrics:

  • # Approved hosts in assigned markets
  • CAC per approved host in assigned markets
  • # Activated hosts in assigned markets
  • CAC per activated host in assigned markets
  • 1st Month Confirmed Trips by New Activated Hosts
  • New approved hosts' lifetime trips

Quality & Strategy Metrics:

  • Activation rate of Top-Tier / High-Potential Hosts
  • Volume of qualified referrals from high-performing partners
  • Growth in demand concentration for ethical and trustworthy hosts
  • # of existing hosts guided into expansion opportunities (new programs)
  • Performance tracking and successful phasing-out of low-quality hosts

Essential Skills / Knowledge & Experience – what I need to do the job

  • Passion for volunteering and traveling
  • Previous experience with Sales/Business Development/Entrepreneurship
  • Spotless communication skills in English, Spanish, or Portuguese with the creative and strong writing style
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, ensure business objectives are met, and able to drive tasks to completion in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines
  • A dynamic personality, ambitious, with excellent persuasive, influencing, and listening skills
