What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a Client Development Catalyst; an authentic connector who is excited to be part of a lively and cohesive team invested in client support. In the Client Development Catalyst role, you’ll help hold responsibility for client satisfaction and growth through the building and maintenance of ongoing relationships with participants in our Product Verification Programs. Specifically, we’ll be looking to you to provide exceptional support and proactive outreach to participants in our Product Verification Programs with a focus on growing client investment through the expansion of their portfolio of verified products. This person will help clients grow their verified product portfolios in the Non-GMO and Non-UPF Verified programs. This role includes both strategic account management and some administrative day-to-day support work. The Client Development Catalyst will report directly to the Client Experience Manager and will work with the Client Experience (CX) Team to further develop our rapidly growing verification program.

Areas of Responsibility
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients through administrative and technical support (Phone, email, and events)
- Effectively communicate with clients in an authentic and grounded manner
- Work with the CX Team to support and grow account management
- Proactively grow client product portfolios in the Non-GMO Project and Non-UPF Verified programs
- Provide education about the verification process, third-party service providers, the Non-GMO Project and Non-UPF Verified Standards, and the organization’s mission
- Represent the organization in client interactions and at industry events
- Facilitate the delivery of legal agreements
- Use task management software to collaborate with team members, efficiently respond to client requests, and evenly share the workload
- Complete additional projects relative to client growth and programmatic improvement as needs arise (Examples include: market research, participant surveys and interviews, and trade show engagements)
- Proactively build technical knowledge of the natural food industry, genetic engineering, and agriculture
- Participate in team meetings and share best practices by creating standard operating procedures that improve the quality of work and efficiency of the team

Experience You Bring

- Associate or undergraduate degree in environmental studies, science, business, marketing, communications, or similar field OR equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of experience providing direct client-facing support
- Sales experience or transferable skills
- Demonstrated interest in the consumer packaged good food systems, the natural products industry, the GMO and non-ultra processed issues
- Proficiency working in a CRM, database systems, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
