Salary Range: $90,000–$110,000

Position Summary

The Executive Assistant to the CEO serves as a trusted partner and strategic administrative leader, providing high-level support to the Chief Executive Officer. This role requires exceptional discretion, strong executive presence, and the ability to manage complex priorities within a regulated, mission-driven healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating at the highest levels of leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support

Serve as the primary administrative partner to the CEO, managing a complex and dynamic calendar
Act as a gatekeeper and liaison between the CEO and internal and external stakeholders, including clinical leaders, board members, and external partners
Anticipate needs, proactively solve problems, and ensure the CEO is fully prepared for all meetings and engagements

Board & Governance Support

Coordinate Board of Directors and committee meetings, including scheduling, agendas, materials, and minutes
Prepare board books, presentations, and executive briefing documents
Handle confidential and sensitive healthcare-related information with the highest level of discretion

Operations & Office Coordination

Manage logistics for meetings, events, and executive travel
Support day-to-day office operations as they relate to the CEO’s priorities
Partner closely with senior leadership, compliance, clinical, and operations teams

Communication & Project Support

Draft, edit, and manage executive correspondence and communications
Track action items, deadlines, and follow-ups on behalf of the CEO
Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives tied to organizational and healthcare priorities

Qualifications

5+ years of experience supporting a C-suite executive, ideally a CEO or Executive Director
Prior experience in healthcare, healthcare nonprofit, hospital system, or similarly regulated environment strongly preferred
Experience supporting boards and senior leadership teams
Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
High level of discretion, emotional intelligence, and sound judgment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related productivity tools
Ability and willingness to work fully onsite in Manhattan

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $90,000–$110,000, commensurate with experience
