Location: Hybrid (3+ Days in Office in Stamford, CT or New York, NY)

The Opportunity
We are seeking early-stage candidates for this Analyst, Sustainability role to work within our consulting team to advise our clients through multifaceted consulting engagements across sectors to develop ESG visions, strategies, and goals and influence performance. You will conduct complex analyses and research to create and contribute to client deliverables. This early-career individual contributor position plays a key role in supporting project teams. You will be trained in our approach to client work and all our services and methodologies.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation of being in either our midtown NYC or Stamford, CT office at least 3+ days/week.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to produce high quality, visually compelling and actionable deliverables.
- Support robust ESG gap analyses, recommendations, and strategic action plans aligned with key market and investor trends and client focus areas.
- Support the end-to-end process of developing clients’ annual sustainability and ESG reports in partnership with a cross-functional team of stakeholders.
- Support stakeholder engagement interviews across a variety of functions and industries to source underreported or new ESG performance data and information.
- Contribute to firm development as a strategic ESG advisor by supporting various firm business development, communication, and thought leadership activities.
- Guided by client’s needs, complete research requests and synthesize findings into concise format for sharing with executives.
- Support other administrative and client account management needs.
Successful Candidates Would
- Have previous experience in corporate sustainability/ESG reporting or general management consulting with demonstrated interest in ESG issues.
- Understand sustainability/ESG and climate accounting, management, and disclosure standards and regulatory frameworks such as GRESB, ISO14064, TCFD, IFRS, SASB, CDP, SBTi, EU Taxonomy, SFDR, CA SB 253, CA SB 261, EU CSRD.
- Have experience with ESG ratings providers and assessments such as ISS, MSCI, Sustainalytics, CDP, and the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB).
- Strong analytical, technical, and database management skills.
- Be able to communicate and give presentations to internal stakeholders effectively and professionally.
- Possess strong writing and editing abilities.
- Be committed to learning new concepts and industry best practices within a fast-paced, high-performance consulting environment.
- Be comfortable executing multiple projects and high-quality deliverables simultaneously with excellent time management skills and sense of prioritization.
- Demonstrate proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years of relevant professional experience (i.e., climate change, sustainability and ESG, management consulting, risk and data management)
- All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

- 45-minute video interview with members of our Sustainability Team
- Case study exercise
