About the Role:
The IPPF South Asia Region (IPPF SAR) wishes to avail services of an individual consultant or agency to develop and support digital communications, communication, and visibility products, branding strategy & action plan for the Regional Office and its Member Associations in South Asia. The work is expected throughout the year 2026 and the consultant, or agency is expected to be available or deploy resources to deliver timely outcomes. We are looking for an individual or agency with prior experience and skillset in graphic designing, illustrations, digital and social media content generation and audio-visual production. S/he/they will support communication and campaign activities around a range of SRHR themes/priorities. In case of an agency, they will have to ensure that the same person is associated till end of contract period.
What you'll do:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for developing, engaging and inspiring, high-quality artwork that represent the IPPF brand. You will build IPPF SAR’s profile by supporting and enabling the communications team to achieve their objectives by showcasing research and data in an impactful way to our audiences. We encourage collaborative, creative individuals who have a strong desire to work in the social impact space to apply for this role. You will work directly with the Communications, Voice and Media Advisor at the IPPF South Asia Region, to create engaging visual design for external and internal communication. The selected candidate will:
- Visualise, design, and develop creative graphics, including social media graphics, TV scrolls, IEC materials, posters and videos for multiple platforms and touchpoints.
- Design all print products, collateral, create and edit all audio-visual content and develop creatives for all online and offline activations.
- Deliver a strong design style for IPPF SAR in alignment to the new IPPF Brand.
- Ensure consistent branding and high-quality design support across all communication outputs.
- Develop web-optimised visuals, banners, infographics, and other assets needed for the website of IPPF Member Associations and IPPF SAR's digital platforms, including templates for regular updates and blogs.
- Be familiar with creation of HTML newsletters and emailers.
- Maintain a high level of creative, industry and technical expertise.
- Be completely clued into the global graphic design landscape, especially in the non-for-profit sector.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years of proven experience in delivering high quality visual designs, and a thorough knowledge of design principles (typography, colour, layout etc.), audio-visual editing.
- Advanced skills in, Adobe Creative Cloud programs, predominantly InDesign, Illustrator, Corel Draw, Photoshop, Adobe Premier Pro, and Canva.
- A strong portfolio, demonstrating both conceptual strength and mastery of softwares and campaign journeys in similar set up
- Skilled in data visualisation and simplification of complex topics
- Experience designing for digital channels (including Newsletter, Emailers, and social media)
- Understanding and proven experience with production workflow, advertising, design and/or print.
- Experience in designing within branding guidelines and working with set creative concepts or international guidelines
- Knowledge of print procedures
- Fluency in English required by consultant or staff engaged by Agency.

- Interest to work on/learn more about rights-based issues and human rights. Understanding of sensitivity towards and commitment to, gender equity. Any previous experience of working with organisations promoting sexual and reproductive rights will be of advantage.
- Experience working across time zones, cultures, and diverse digital environments.
- Lived experience of marginalised group (welcome and valued).
